My practitioner says it will take about three months to build up in the gut and that it's important for weight loss and digestion. I just started taking it and I don't know if this is related but I am also sleeping better.

The sugars feed the long starved bacteria which has improved my digestion and function markedly. The drop in overall body inflammation is visible. My hands and joints are more free and light. Some reactions and allergies have been greatly diminished. Note, I use this product while supplementing with a variety of gut bacteria L Bifid. Infantis in particular needs this sugar to populate and do the good it has evolved in us.
